Online gift buying is a common practice these days. But very often it's difficult to decide what to buy and the perfect solution in this case is an online gift certificate. EPS-Cart offers a simple and effective gift certificate system supporting both e-mail and postal certificate types.

Gift certificates can be easily bought through the storefront. The only thing different from usual purchase is that before proceeding to checkout it is necessary to fill in the template with information about the recipient and specify the gift certificate amount. The other steps are standard.

The whole process is carried out automatically and under your total control. Once a gift certificate is bought, the complete information is immediately displayed in the EPS-Cart administration panel. And if the gift certificate is of an e-mail type, the system sends it to the recipient once it is created. Redemption is also fully automated. If the full amount is spent, the certificate changes its status and can't be used again.

There are no restrictions that may be considered inconvenient by your customers. It is not necessary to use up the full amount at a time, customers can return and spend the balance. If the certificate amount is not enough to pay for the order, the rest amount can be paid using other payment methods. One more thing that contributes to the system is that gift certificates do not have expiry dates.
